To spice up Sex life try Outercourse

People who do not want to go all the way to sexual intercourse can still be more sexual and even more orgasmic with what sex experts call an "outercourse".

Outercourse is the umbrella term for any kind of sex play that doesn't involve oral or traditional sex, but still manage to offer sexual gratification for lovers involved in the act.

It's ideal in minimizing the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and the risk of pregnancy, reports Fox News.

However, the method is not completely foolproof, as it depends on how much clothing people keep on.

Outercourse allows lovemaking to last longer, and couples are given the opportunity to soak in more of what the sexual experience is about.

Partners may feel closer and more connected with each other and themselves, while for new lovers, it allows them to build trust while feeling sexually connected.

For older, experienced lovers, outercourse can hurl them back in time, helping them to reclaim the thrill of the forbidden nature of sex.

Outercourse embodies a number of sexual activities, including:

Erotic Talk - Whether in the boudoir, over the phone, via text or online, lovers can catapult each other to a carnal cosmos with some lascivious lingo.

Sensual Storytelling - Between reading sexy stories and looking at erotica, lovers can entertain themselves for hours while playing with their own hot spots.

Role-Playing - By sharing fantasies, lovers can pick and choose their preferred real-life passion pursuits.

Erotic Massage - Lovers work every part of the body with scintillating sexual touch.

Kissing - Suck face and grope each other like teenagers, eventually showering your lover's entire body with kisses.

Cybersex - Via instant messaging, E-mail, Internet chatrooms, or cyberspace forums, lovers can have tech sex of all types. Maximum satisfaction is realized in how much you choose to touch yourself versus your keyboard.

Strip Teases - Give your lover his or her own private viewing, being sure to conclude your routine with some lush lip action and titillating touches.

Sexual Enhancement Products - Sex toys were practically made for outercourse. Offering variety, experimentation, and hours of entertainment, lovers can explore each other's bodies as they tap all of their senses.

Mutual Masturbation - Pleasure yourself for your partner's pleasure or erotically massage each other's bodies at the same time or take turns stimulating the other.

Dry sex - Lovers can rub up against each other to no end, stimulating each other into oblivion.

What affects women's Sex life?

It’s not just age, partner’s health and interest in sex too have significant impact on sexual activity among middle-aged and elderly women, say researchers.

Among sexually inactive women, the most common reason was lack of interest in sex with 39 percent of the respondents saying the same.

Thirty-six pct said lack of a partner, 23 pct agreed to physical problem of partner while 11 pct said lack of interest by partner.

Only nine percent were inactive from personal physical problems.

According to the researchers, sexual activity was defined as any activity that was arousing, including masturbation.

"Our findings indicate that a substantial portion of women are interested and engaged in sexual activity as they age," said lead author Alison Huang, MD, assistant professor in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.

"Clinicians should consider a woman's overall health when addressing concerns about sexual inactivity.

However, treatment directed solely at improving women's sexual functioning, such as medications, may not substantially affect their activity if partner issues also are not addressed," Huang added.

The study appears in Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.

Orgasms are good for You

Girls who get lots of sexual thrills are also the most likely to hit career and health highs, claims Britain's first orgasm coach, as reported in the The Sun.

Psychologist Lisa Turner, below, says the right type of orgasm will "massively increase your energy."

Studies suggest that 28 per cent of women rarely, or never, achieve full orgasm, and many resort to faking it - as Meg Ryan did in that famous When Harry Met Sally scene.

But the real thing won't just help your sex life, Lisa says good orgasms also boost health and concentration and help women perform better at work, reports The Sun.

The clitoral orgasm "In the past it was not recognised that women needed clitoral stimulation in order to achieve orgasm.

Now this is commonly appreciated but often to the detriment to the other kinds of orgasms that women can achieve."

The Vaginal Orgasm "This type involves the "G" spot and other highly sensitive areas that are inside the vagina. These orgasms are very different and can be either more or less intense physically, but energetically they raise your energy rather than deplete it."

Multiple Orgasms "Where you stay at the height of sexual excitement such that you have a series of orgasms one after another. just like a string of pearls."

The Full Body Orgasm "These are rare in most women. Not because they are difficult to achieve. With the right training, and practice anyone can achieve a full body orgasm - including men.

These can go on for anything up to 30 minutes, although several minutes is more usual.

She says the most common block to ultimate enjoyment is past trauma, or an inability to let go.

Sex can stop a cold & Diabetes

A healthy sex drive will leave you peaking in more ways than one. People who have a lot of nookie experience health benefits which can leave them in much better physical form than those who don't. Sex can help fight flab, ward off colds and make you live longer, as reported in The Sun.

According to Jennifer Bass, of sex research centre The Kinsey Institute, "There is definitely a correlation between health and sex. If you are healthier, you are going to have more sex. "Making love provides a cardiovascular workout and floods the body with feel-good chemicals."

Longer life

Sex is associated with good health and a longer life, a survey by the American Association of Retired Persons reveals.

Almost half of over-50s - 44 per cent - who described their health as excellent or very good had intercourse at least once a week.

But just 20 per cent of those with only fair or poor health made love this often.

It could be due to dehydroepiandrosterone - DHEA - which floods the body during sex and surges on orgasm.

Bloodstream levels of this hormone are five times higher than normal when sexual pleasure peaks. DHEA has been shown to be beneficial in fighting reduced insulin response and middle-age spread.

Blood pressure

In the heat of the hump, sex increases blood pressure but in the long run it reduces it - cutting the risk of stroke, says The Sun.

A study in Biological Psychology says regular sex lowers diastolic blood pressure - the lower number that shows the reading when your heart is resting.

Satisfying sex also increases output of the chemical transmitter dopamine, which improves relaxation and counteracts stress hormones associated with hypertension.

Low libido can also be an early warning of blood pressure problems. Doctors know that men who have hypertension are likely to have erectile dysfunction.

And Greek researchers recently discovered it has an even greater impact on women.

Four out of ten with high blood pressure go off sex, compared to three in ten men.

Combats diabetes

The exercise and calorie burning benefits of sex help reduce Type 2 diabetes risk.

A study in the Journal of the American Medical Association reported that DHEA, released when we orgasm, improves insulin action. It also combats central obesity.

Carrying weight around the stomach is a known risk factor for diabetes because the flab releases hormones called adipokines that seem to impair the body's glucose tolerance. Animal studies show DHEA protects against this damage too.

Heart boost

Men who have sex less than once a month are twice as likely to have a fatal heart attack than men who make love at least twice a week.

Sun GP Dr Carol Cooper says: "Sex is great for the cardiovascular system but how much you get out depends on how much effort you put in.

Bonking three times a week could halve the risk of stroke

"If it's not getting your heart racing, you're doing it wrong.

"Patients with heart problems sometimes worry about dying on the job, but that's very rare. If you can manage two flights of stairs you are probably fit enough for sex."

Because it boosts circulation, sex increases the supply of oxygen to cells and stimulates the activity of various organs and systems within the body.

Erectile dysfunction can also indicate cardiovascular problems.

Weight control

Sun fitness expert Nicki Waterman says: "Just 30 minutes of sex will burn around 200 calories, so if you have sex five days a week, that's equivalent to two-and-a-half hours in the gym.

"For best results, women can hop on top because this will help firm their thighs and tone their belly."

An orgasm can burn 60-100 calories, 30 minutes of snogging will blitz 90 calories.

And orgasms release both enkephalins and dopamine. These feel-good body chemicals help to reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol which is associated with weight gain, particularly around the tummy.

They also flood the body with DHEA, which attacks belly fat, according to researchers at Washington Univeristy School of Medicine. Volunteers were given 50mg of DHEA and a second group took a dummy pill.

Women lost 10.2 per cent of their abdominal fat and men lost 7.4 per cent.

Marry a Younger woman and live longer

. Monday, June 22, 2009

Men live longer if they marry a younger woman, according to population statistics.

What's more, men who tie the knot with older women are more likely to die early, the study at Germany's Max Planck Institute found.

According to the research, blokes cut the risk of premature death by 11 per cent if their wives are seven to nine years younger, reports The Daily Express.

The figure rises to 20 per cent for men who marry women between 15 and 17 years younger.

Scientists reckon that the figures may be the result of natural selection – that only the healthiest, most successful older men are able to attract younger mates.

"Another theory is that a younger woman will care for a man better and therefore he will live longer," said institute spokesman Sven Drefahl.

However, when it comes to women, the results showed that ladies benefit from marrying a man of the same age.

Wives with husbands older or younger by between seven and nine years increase their chances of dying early by 20 per cent.

This rises to 30 per cent if the age difference is close to 15 and 17 years.

Smell of rotten eggs turns on Men

. Friday, June 19, 2009

Rotten eggs might not be welcomed in a woman's kitchen, but they can prove really useful under bed sheets, suggests a new study which found the smell of decaying eggs could make men randy.

According to research that could lead to new impotence treatments, the chemical behind the smell of rotten eggs helps men become aroused.

A gas called hydrogen sulphide – also released when eggs rot and from the exhausts of cars with catalytic converters – is given out by men just before they have sex.

Following the study, researchers believe that it could be used to create a rival to Viagra.

"We found that hydrogen sulphide is involved in human penile erection," The Telegraph quoted Professor Giuseppe Cirino of the University of Naples Federico II, as telling The Independent.

"The hydrogen sulphide pathway represents a new therapeutic target for erectile dysfunction and it should be possible in future to deliver drugs that either deliver hydrogen sulphide or that control the hydrogen sulphide production," the expert added.
