H1N1 virus has reached in India, when the first ever positive swine flu case was reported from Hyderabad.

H1N1 virus has reached in India, when the first ever positive swine flu case was reported from Hyderabad.

According to information, a young man in an Emirates Airline from New York via Dubai to Hyderabad tested H1N1 virus positive on Wednesday morning and has been quarantined at the Chest Hospital in Hyderabad.

As per Dr S V Prasad, Superintendent of the Chest Hospital, Hyderabad, and the patient is now being treated with anti-viral drugs Tamiflu (Oseltamivir) and is stable.
